Universal system for harvesting CCM (Corn-Cob-Mix / crushed corn) with compatible corn headers on forage harvesters. Compatible corn headers keep their normal functionality on combine harvesters and can also be attached to forage harvesters.
Features
- When a compatible corn header is used on a forage harvester, maize is converted at runtime to CCMRAW with a x1.25 yield factor.
- CCM harvesting is available only at the final green, forage-ready growth stage before grain maturity.
- Standard forage-maize headers such as ORBIS are not changed and continue to produce CHAFF.
- The mod adds three independent discharge-pipe control modes to compatible forage harvesters:
- AUTO – Standard GIANTS automatic pipe aiming.
- SEMI-AUTO – Automatic left/right aiming with manual up/down control.
- MANUAL – Full manual left/right and up/down control.
- In SEMI-AUTO mode, mouse movement controls pipe height only.
- In MANUAL mode, mouse movement controls both horizontal rotation and vertical movement.
- All keyboard controls can be reassigned in the in-game Controls menu.
Controls
- Ctrl + O – Switch pipe control mode.
- Hold middle mouse button + move mouse – Control the discharge pipe.
- Ctrl + Alt + Arrow Keys – Alternative keyboard pipe controls.
