Farming Simulator 25 players can now add two official Volvo wheel loaders to their farms without buying another DLC. GIANTS Software has released the Volvo L90 Pack as a free download through the in-game ModHub.
The pack arrived during FarmCon 2026 and contains two versions of the same Volvo loader. Players can compare the conventional L90H with the newer electric model before deciding which machine better suits their operation.
The electric version costs considerably more
The performance gap between the two loaders is relatively small. The standard L90H produces 184 horsepower, while the L90 Electric delivers 190 horsepower. Both machines have a maximum speed of 45 kilometres per hour.
The main difference is the in-game purchase price. The diesel-powered L90H costs $199,500, while the electric model is listed at $279,500. Players therefore pay an additional $80,000 for the electric machine and its six extra horsepower.
That creates a real decision for career farms. Players working with limited funds may prefer the cheaper L90H, while established operations can choose the electric model without placing as much pressure on their budget.
A matching Volvo bucket is included
GIANTS Software has also added a Volvo General Purpose Bucket. The attachment costs $10,500 and can carry 3,100 litres of material. The loader and bucket combination should suit farms that regularly move bulk materials around storage areas, production sites or animal facilities. It also gives players an official Volvo setup without requiring separate equipment from another brand.
Volvo machinery across simulation games
Volvo equipment has a strong presence across several simulation communities, especially among players interested in construction and transport machinery. Farming Simulator fans may focus on loaders and farm logistics, while those following American Truck Simulator Mods often look for trucks, trailers and equipment that expand long-distance hauling.
The connection is straightforward. Both games attract players who enjoy licensed vehicles, realistic machinery and the ability to shape their own working fleet. The free Volvo L90 Pack gives Farming Simulator 25 players another official machine to add to that collection.
Available on PC and consoles
The Volvo L90 Pack is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles and Nintendo Switch 2. Its download size is 44.71 MB, making it a fairly small addition to an existing Farming Simulator 25 installation.
Players can download the pack now without spending real money. The harder choice may be deciding which version deserves a place in the machinery shed.
