This mod adds diesel management to the game, including fuel quality, aging, water, sediment, microbes and filter maintenance. Machines refuelled from your farm tank inherit the fuel condition, while base-game stations still provide fresh diesel.
Features
- Every litre has its own condition: quality, age, water, sediment and microbes.
- Machines refuelled from your tank inherit its diesel condition.
- Base-game stations still provide fresh diesel.
- Refuel by hand with the nozzle using the 8.5 m hose at 2 L/s. Hold the trigger at the filler, or leave it latched and it shuts off when full. Pick it back up with K.
- Premium diesel has higher cetane, detergents, demulsifier and stabiliser. It provides better cold starts, cleaner injectors and longer storage, but is not a power bonus.
- Regular diesel is suitable for old mechanical engines, while in a common rail engine it fouls the injectors.
- Stored diesel ages and collects water. Test it with the dipstick in the sample jar, drain the bottom, treat it with stabiliser and biocide, or order fuel polishing.
- A clogged filter restricts flow. The machine runs fine with no load, becomes weak uphill, then surges and finally will not start.
- A sediment bowl is present on every machine. If water reaches the injection pump, the engine misfires and stalls.
- Change filters step by step with the band wrench. The dirty old filter stays in your hand and sells as scrap.
- For air in the lines, use the hand primer on mechanical engines, or turn the ignition on for the electric lift pump on common rail engines.
- If the engine will not start, the starter cranks while you hold the key and the real cause is shown: air, clogged or missing filter, gelled or degraded fuel.
- The engine must be off to refuel at stations, with the nozzle and at the terminal.
- At the loading island, use the earth clamp, connect the hose to the outlet, open the valves and press START. The system has automatic cut-off, a receipt with the metered litres and an emergency stop.
- Everything uses K: tap for the next step, or hold for the service menu.
- Compatible with base-game and modded tractors and combines, with no XML editing.
- Supports multiplayer and dedicated servers. Any farm can use the terminal.
- Compatible with Real Fuel Consumption, Realistic Diesel Start, Advanced Damage System and Interactive Control.
- With Agricultural Financial System, diesel goes to your current account.
- Available in English, Spanish, German and French.
- The nozzle attaches to the filler point marked on the model by each vehicle’s creator. If it looks odd on a machine, that comes from the vehicle, not the mod.
