The AFT-10 is a heavy tracked anti-tank guided missile carrier with HJ-10 launchers, built for long-range anti-armor interception and precision fire support.
Features
- Tracked Armored Chassis: Built on the proven ZBD-04A tracked infantry fighting vehicle platform, engineered for superior all-terrain cross-country performance, mud traction, and stability.
- Octuple Elevating Missile Launcher: Features a rotating rear turret equipped with two four-cell launch pods, housing 8 ready-to-fire HJ-10 anti-tank guided missiles, mounted on an elevating frame.
- Advanced Electro-Optical Targeting Suite: Incorporates a central electro-optical module positioned between the missile containers, combining thermal imaging, TV cameras, and a laser rangefinder for autonomous target detection and tracking.
- Fiber-Optic Data Link (NLOS Guidance): Employs real-time fiber-optic video feed telemetry (“Man-in-the-Loop”), allowing operators to lock onto targets post-launch and strike beyond non-line-of-sight (NLOS) obstacles.
- Long-Range Anti-Armor Interception: Engineered as a primary long-range tank destroyer to engage and neutralize enemy main battle tanks (MBTs) and fortified bunkers at ranges up to 10 km.
- Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) Engagement: Enables precision strikes against hidden targets behind terrain contours, tree lines, or structures without exposing the vehicle to direct counter-fire.
- Fire Support for Mechanized Brigades: Delivers high-precision anti-tank screening to protect advancing armored columns and reinforce defensive perimeters.
