Welcome to Birkental, a varied and customisable farming map for LS25 where you can build and expand your farm according to your own ideas. The map offers 28 fields, 14 areas of woodland that can be felled, and extensive options for customisation.

Special harvesting equipment
The harvesting machines required for taro, peanuts and lavender are integrated directly into the map. No additional harvesting machine mods are required for these three crops.
Special feature: Taro
Taro can only be grown in rice paddies.
Important when growing:
- The rice paddy must not yet be flooded when sowing.
- After sowing, wait until the first plants are visible.
- This usually happens about one day after sowing.
- Only then should the field be flooded or watered.
- From this point onwards, taro must be watered daily until it is ready for harvest.

The production chains are structured on a larger scale. Electricity is required to run the factories, and a reliable energy supply is needed at an early stage. Packaging materials, including paper and cardboard, are also required for various production chains and must be produced and made available.
Garden and Vegetables
An open garden is available for growing garden plants and vegetables.
In addition to the standard varieties, the following can also be grown:

In Birkenbach, several greenhouses are available for sale, allowing you to expand your vegetable and plant cultivation.
Orchards
You can set up orchards with the following fruit varieties:

Wooden baskets are needed to run the orchards. These can be made from wood by the carpenter.

A train is also available for loading and selling goods.
Electricity generation
The electricity supply plays a central role in Birkental. The factories require electricity to operate, and without electricity the production chains come to a standstill.
Electricity generation options:

- Combined heat and power plant
- Individual, placeable solar collector
- Solar farm
The solar installations deliberately generate less electricity than the BGA and the combined heat and power plant, providing a smaller option for energy generation.
Rollercoaster
A rollercoaster is available as a special buildable object and can be built wherever you like.
Your farm
There is no fully pre-designed starting farm. At the start of the game, you have a farmhouse, two open gardens and a few fruit trees at your disposal. Another patch of woodland is also available for expanding your farm.
You can build a small farm, a large agricultural enterprise, additional stables and pastures, or an entirely unique farm complex.
Free Design
A large part of the map is designed to provide creative freedom. You can expand fields, clear forests, connect areas, build new stables or redesign your farm.
Do not delete the pigsty with the farm shop from the XML file. Otherwise, the shop will be floating in mid-air.
