Competizione is an extension for Real Country Life that introduces a true rival: Muschio Inc., an agricultural multinational that arrives after several in‑game months and begins competing for land, labour, and market influence.
Muschio never buys land; it only rents it.
Its portfolio expands according to its financial success, progressing through tiers from a small foothold to a territorial empire. If its economy weakens, it stops expanding but never abandons rented fields.
Competition for land is driven by three strategies: ordinary expansion toward free fields, aggressive moves on land adjacent to the player’s farm, and snatching fields directly from the player’s watchlist. A full auction system is included, with counter‑bids, hidden spending ceilings, and escalating determination as the player wins back land.
Muschio works its fields realistically: vehicles spawn at field edges, follow proper work cycles, and avoid gridlock. It obeys the same agronomic rules as the player, including three‑year crop rotation and avoiding crops that require unsupported equipment.
The price war merges two forces: Muschio’s pressure—crops standing or freshly harvested on its fields—and local demand generated by the player’s own sales. Muschio always sells at full book price, while the player must compete through timing: harvesting before Muschio, staggering sales, or avoiding the same crops.
Labour hired by either side increases union tension. When a threshold is crossed, a strike may occur: AI workers cannot start new jobs, though ongoing tasks finish normally. Each strike settlement permanently raises labour costs until a hard cap is reached.
Competizione communicates through Real Country Life’s systems: a live competition tab showing Muschio’s current activity, and a monthly newspaper offering a snapshot of field changes, dominant crops, and labour news. Differences between the two are intentional, reflecting present vs. recent past.
The mod is built with strong technical robustness, duplicate‑mod detection, and extensive real‑game testing.
It requires Real Country Life and is not verified for multiplayer.
In short, Competizione adds a neighbour who truly competes—affecting land, prices, labour, and the district’s story—creating a dynamic, reactive agricultural world.
