Create, save and manage custom animal feed recipes from the in-game menu. Recipes and settings are stored with the savegame.
Features
- Recipe Editor: Choose an animal type and select up to eight ingredients. Set the minimum and maximum amount for each ingredient. The ratio bars are display-only and follow the minimum and maximum settings. The selected animal determines the mixer output. Cows and buffalo use TMR or forage, pigs use pig food, sheep and goats use suitable grass or hay feed, chickens use grain and horses prefer oats when available. Animal types supplied by maps or other mods use their loaded food data where possible.
- Saved Recipes and Global Mix: Save Recipe stores a mix for later without making it global. Global Mix makes the recipe the default for unassigned barns of that animal type and loads the current or attached mixer wagon when it is empty. The Recipes page can load any saved recipe into an empty mixer. Always empty the mixer before selecting another recipe.
- Barn Assignments: The Barns page assigns a special recipe to an individual husbandry. Barn recipes require at least two ingredients. An assigned barn accepts the ingredients from its recipe while other unassigned barns continue to use the global mix. This supports setups such as a calf ration in one cattle pen and a mature cattle ration in the others.
- Input Materials: The Inputs page controls which materials appear in the recipe ingredient selector. Mixer-wagon materials are available by default. Suitable fill types supplied by the current map or other mods can also be enabled. A material used by a saved recipe becomes available again when that recipe is selected.
- Feed Balance: The Feed Balance page is optional and works separately from recipe creation. Select an animal type to view its normal food groups. Each food group can be kept in use or reduced, and its animal benefit and food usage can be tuned. Grass, meadow and pasture groups are protected because the game relies on them for husbandry and meadow behaviour. Custom recipes also respect the selected feed balance.

Using the Mod
Open the in-game menu and select Custom Animal Food Recipes. Build a recipe on the Editor page and use Save Recipe to keep it, or Global Mix to make it the default and load an empty mixer. Use the Recipes page to load or delete saved recipes, the Barns page for individual husbandry recipes, the Inputs page to manage visible ingredients, and Feed Balance only when you want to tune the normal animal food groups.
