Realistic Physics is a beta mod with rewritten vehicle physics. Delete the previous mod from your mods folder before installing this version, because both versions have the same name and only one can be in the game.
If the old version stays in the folder, the two mods will clash and your vehicles will behave strangely. The mod is still in development, so some vehicles may not feel right yet and changes may occur between versions.
Features
- Every vehicle category and type has its own suspension settings, so big tractors, small tractors, trailers and cars feel different instead of using one generic setup. This also works on mod vehicles.
- Wheel spin hopping: spinning the wheels makes the machine bounce. Hard ground and roads cause the most bouncing, while soft field soil causes very little. The effect depends on wheel spin, vehicle load and the weight being pulled, and fades as the vehicle gains speed.
- If you find something odd, provide the vehicle name and describe what you were doing.
Changelog
- BETA 2
Fixed: the weak bounce of spinning wheels, trailer suspension and vehicles being prone to tipping over.
New: tractors with swing-arm suspension, such as John Deere or Fendt, level themselves automatically.
