Worker Skill System is a Farming Simulator 25 script mod that makes AI helpers feel like a real farm crew. It adds persistent worker profiles, worker selection, skill levels, XP growth, custom wages, job fit checks, specialist bonuses, and worker status feedback during helper jobs.
Features
- Adds persistent worker profiles with name, level, XP, specialty, trait, wage, availability, and saved stats.
- Opens a worker selection window with H on startable AI vehicles, including Start Selected and Auto Best options.
- Uses skill-based custom wages and higher-level worker bonuses for fuel, wear, damage, consistency, and mistake recovery.
- Allows players to choose the right worker for seeding, harvesting, baling, transport, or spraying.
- Workers can improve over time, with saved stats and skill progression.
- Provides quick worker status feedback during helper jobs.
Compatibility
- Farming Simulator 25.
- Single-player only.
- The active gameplay logic is written in Lua.
- The game loads the script through modDesc.xml.
- Avoid running duplicate versions or multiple scripts that control the same gameplay system unless they have been tested together.
- Compatibility testing should include the map, any mods that affect the same gameplay area, and a save-and-reload check.
Testing Notes
Test the exact action the mod changes, then read the log after a reload to make sure no repeated warning is hiding behind a working first impression. Change only one thing at a time and record the map name, game version, mod version, and other active scripts that affect script mods gameplay.
If the first test looks good, save the game, exit to the menu, reload the save, and repeat the same action once more. This helps identify restore problems, missing XML paths, delayed script errors, and visual changes that only appear after reload.
