MOD CHANGES
– All Maps – Adjusted tree friction values: slightly less slippery and generally better handling
– All Maps – Slight increase in tree weight (minimal), necessary for correct sinking with the new, higher friction values
– All Skidders – Adjusted the weight of the grapple swing arm to reduce unwanted upward movement when using ratchet straps
– All Tracked Vehicles – Slight weight increase (by request), as the handling was still too unstable (“tipby”) for some
– All Grapples – Improved Response speed when opening and closing the grapple arms
– All rigid grapples – Holding force changed/improved to support the new tree physics
– All pendulum grapples – Improved grip on the trunks
– All processor units – Improved weight distribution and stability for better trunk control
– All processor units – Improved rotational resistance; rotating the unit and trunk is now significantly easier
– All buncher heads – Increased cutting area; while “pre-cutting” isn’t entirely realistic, it allows for a much smoother cut when cutting multiple trees
– All buncher heads – Softened the skid plate to allow for a gentler “push” into the trees when cutting
– All trucks – Reduced start-up speed and smoother acceleration for better control
– All trucks – Fixed an issue where trucks would get stuck when manually shifting into forward or reverse

– All processors – Fixed a bug with the manual saw: It would accidentally collide with trees already in the head, interrupting the length measurement.
– All buncher heads – Improved grip for a smoother, more controlled feel when placing and moving felled trees.
– All buncher heads – Increased housing friction: No slippage when setting down, but ideal for jump turns.
– All buncher heads – New soft-push function when pushing through: The saw presses into the base of the log during the cut, providing a clean, firm grip.
– Mod Update 3.0 includes a new map called “Pelican Lake.”
