2016 Volkswagen T6 Edited Version V1.0

This edited version improves the Volkswagen T6 physics, engine, transmission, braking, fuel usage, and vehicle configurations.

Features

• Mass changed from 2940kg to 2200kg, the real T6 weight.
• Center of Mass fixed from 0 0.57 0.67 to 0 0.5 0.1, which was making it flip over.
• frictionScale changed from 2.5 to 1.2, as it was sliding like on ice.
• Wheel radius changed from 0.38 to 0.348, correct for 235/55 R17.
• Suspension spring/damper re-tuned: front 17/4 to 22/8, making it much more stable.
• The old motor had an RPM mismatch: maxRpm 4500, but torque was defined up to 6000rpm, resulting in no power.
• Created 2 engine configurations: 2.0 TDI 204HP, a realistic everyday engine, and 2.0 BiTDI 286HP, a tuned version.
• Added 5 proper automatic gears instead of one: 35, 70, 115, 150, 180 km/h.
• Removed the combination for trius and fst990, as the van should not pull a manure trailer and fuel tanker by default.
• Removed the invalid vehicleType=”VW_CADDY_2015″ in design4, which prevented the Front Bar config from showing up.
• Changed the sound path from skoda/kodiaq to cars/sounds/car.xml, so there is no more error if you do not have Skoda DLC.
• Changed SKODA colors to universal RGB colors.

Specifications

• Brake force changed from 1.95 to 8.0 / 8.5, so it now actually brakes.
• Fuel usage changed from 80 to 12, as the old setting emptied the tank in 10 minutes.
• Axle ratio changed from 15 to 4.2 / 3.9, as 15 is for tractors, not cars.
• Price changed from 69200$ to 42500$, making it more realistic.
• 2.0 TDI 204HP, realistic everyday engine.
• 2.0 BiTDI 286HP, tuned version, +3500$.
