Module 8 Express Cotton Trailer v1.0
A game changer in hauling, our cotton trailer is designed for 8 round bales to lay flat on the bed for safer loading, transporting, and unloading. With traditional module trucks having capacity for only four bales, our trailer saves on time and fuel costs.
For best results it is recommended to position the trailer on a flat surface (or even slightly higher in the front) and load the trailer from the back first. The more powerful the truck is the easier it will be to pull this heavy trailer, and tension belts will help, although these trailers are usually used without them in real life.
This mod also has a self-loading store configuration and will pick up eight modules automatically when driven close to them. To start the autoload function, enter operating postion and drive near the cotton modules. Once they are all loaded up you can enter transport mode and the modules will stay on the trailer no matter how crazy you drive (as long as you don’t reset the trailer!).
To unload, use the crane functions to move the modules to where you want to leave them, then simply “unload” them! This is an unrealistic option that I have added for ease of gameplay, but it is entirely possible to use the trailer with no autoload, tension belts, or fancy equipment.
This trailer is designed to be loaded by wheel loaders and telehandlers using large bale spears such as my Round Cotton Module Spear For Wheel Loaders mod (available on modhub), which goes well with this mod.
