MZKT-7930 (8×8 Heavy Chassis with Radar / Mobile Electronic Warfare Platform) is a high-mobility heavy chassis designed to transport electronic payloads, surveillance radars, and tactical command systems across rugged terrain and paved highways.
Features
- High-Mobility 8×8 Heavy Chassis: Built upon the robust MZKT-7930 multi-axle heavy-duty platform.
- Integrated Radar and Sensor Superstructure: Features a heavy-duty bed assembly equipped with advanced rotating radar dishes, acquisition arrays, or electronic surveillance antennas designed for long-range air and ground scanning.
- Auxiliary Power and Shelter Cabins: Incorporates onboard power generation modules, climate-controlled electronics compartments, and housing units for operating crews directly on the rear chassis framework.
- High-Output Diesel Powerplant: Powered by a heavy-duty diesel engine coupled to a specialized multi-speed automatic transmission, ensuring high torque and smooth operation despite the massive gross vehicle weight.
- Long-Range Surveillance and Target Acquisition: Serves as a primary mobile radar node, sweeping vast sectors of airspace or battlefield zones to detect aircraft, ballistic missiles, and electronic signatures.
- C4ISR and Air Defense Integration: Transmits real-time tracking telemetry and tactical data directly to mobile surface-to-air missile batteries and command posts to coordinate interception sequences.
- Strategic Relocation (“Shoot-and-Scoot”): Wheeled mobility allows high-speed transit between deployment sites, reducing vulnerability to enemy counter-battery fire and anti-radiation weapons.
