FDR Logging mod pack v13.0
All the grapple skidders now have “locking straps” on the grapples so by hitting “L” on your keyboard it will lock grabs of logs to the skidder grapple.
I finally found a way to help with the “floating logs” issue when strapped…. but be advised these straps are very much an “Experimental” feature, The logs usually work ok-“ish” with them but you will notice if you fully “Squeeze” the logs and try to turn on the straps the logs will freak out, so I highly recommend if you plan on using the straps you don’t fully close the grapple prior to pressing the lock button.
Locking straps are not realistic but I totally understand the frustration for players as the logs do not act like real life when being dragged in this game. It’s an extra feature that you can use if you want but also can be ignored if you don’t want to use them.
And if this is your first time updating the mods, all you have to do is delete all the old FDR Logging mods from your “Mods folder” and follow the instructions in that same install video above to put the new ones in from your downloaded zip file.
