Contrails v1.0
Contrails adds realistic airplane flyovers with persistent vapor trails to the sky in Farming Simulator 25. Planes appear at random intervals, fly across the map at configurable altitude and speed, and leave behind expanding, fading contrails — just like real high-altitude aircraft. At night (20:00–05:00), planes display blinking red, green, and white navigation lights for added realism.
Key Features:
– Up to 3 concurrent flyovers with staggered batch spawning
– 8 airplane sprite variations and 16 puff textures for visual variety
– Realistic trail behavior with sqrt-based diffusion, per-segment drift noise, and 60-second lifecycle
– 3D positional flyover audio with distance-based attenuation
– Full in-game settings UI (LAlt+C) for adjusting altitude, speed, frequency, and max planes
– Persistent settings saved to XML between sessions
– Night navigation lights (port red, starboard green, tail blink, strobe)
– Debug mode with console commands and HUD overlay
– Supported Languages: English, Hungarian, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Italian, Dutch
Note:
– Singleplayer only for now. Multiplayer support is planned for a future update.
